Legacy Walk Bricks

Order yours today!
Project Prom Legacy Walk Order Form

Prom has come and gone, and graduation will be here before we know it. But there is a way to commemorate your child's time at Seven Lakes High School--with a brick in our Legacy Walk.

The Legacy Walk runs along the patio behind the Main Commons and contains bricks from the first graduating class of 2008 to last year's seniors. Project Prom 2013 has decided to re-open sales for a small window of time, until Monday, June 3.

The 4x8 inch bricks are $50 and 8x8 bricks are $100 and include 2 lines of text. Additional lines are available at a small cost, and large bricks can include sports, fine arts or cheerleading symbols. (See order form for specific details and limitations.) Download a form here, attach a check payable to SLHS Project Prom, and return it to the front office today!

Make your child a permanent part of the Seven Lakes campus with a Legacy Walk brick.
FAQs
What time and where is check-in for Project Prom?

Check-in for Project Prom will be at Seven Lakes. Students should park in or be dropped at the back parking lot and enter the doors between the cafeteria serving lines and the Main Commons and should be wearing the Project Prom shirt and have their student ID. Check-in is on May 12 from 12:00 midnight to 1:30 a.m. Any students arriving after 1:30 a.m. will not be allowed to enter. Students must ride the bus to the event in order to gain entry.

How does my child get his/her Project Prom t-shirt?

T-shirts will be distributed during lunches on Friday, May 10. For seniors with a guest, shirts will be distributed together, not separately. Seniors must present student ID and sign a form to pick up his/her shirts. We are aware of a group of students who are going on a field trip and will make arrangements to get these students their shirts, but we have to wait until our vendor prints them until we can finalize plans.

When does my child change from Prom clothes to her Project Prom shirt/shorts?

Students must arrive to school for check-in wearing their shirts. They will not be allowed to change inside. For the kids attending prom with a group, often one family offers to host the group to change out of their formal attire into their Project Prom shirts and shorts or jeans. This saves a lot of drive-time and helps the kids make it to check-in before 1:30 a.m. Whatever your senior’s plan is, make sure that you keep that 1:30 a.m. time in mind!

With so many student cars out, will the parking lot be secure overnight?

Project Prom is hiring security for the back parking lot, so your child should be safe walking to/from his car and the car will be supervised all evening. All the same, any valuables should NOT be stored in any parked car at any time. No purses or bags are allowed inside. Students will be given bags to store keys, phones and cameras. All other items should be kept at home.

I’m planning on dropping my child off for check-in. When and where should I pick her up in the morning?

Your child will be dropped off in the back parking lot between 5 and 6 a.m. on May 12. If you are providing transportation, suggest that your child save phone battery power so you can get a text or call when they load buses to return to school.

I have a question that hasn’t been answered—what do I do?

Most answers are probably included in the Expectations and Protocol that you acknowledged receipt of by turning in your signed forms. If you need another copy, download the packet here. The Protocol sheet is page 2. For other questions, contact Anne Marie at Riverdeboz@aol.com.
